Import LRC lyrics, adjust sync and loop a vocal phrase
Bring your own timed lyrics into Loopdrill, distinguish a global offset from line timing, and practice a continuous phrase with one shared A–B loop.
What an LRC timestamp means
LRC is text with line start times. For example, [00:12.50]My first practice line starts at 12.50 seconds. An untimed text file can be read, but needs timestamps before it can define synchronized line loops.
Use text you wrote or have permission to use. Importing a file does not create rights to its contents. A live recording and a studio recording can need different timestamps even when their words match.
Import or write your lyrics
Use Import LRC to select your file, or the lyrics editor to write and time your own lines. Check a few lines near the beginning and end before adjusting the whole song.
Use a global sync offset if every line is early or late by a similar amount. Edit individual timestamps if only some lines are wrong. A growing mismatch often indicates a different recording or timing pattern, not one constant offset.
Select one continuous phrase
Long-press a line to enter lyrics loop selection and extend the selection across neighboring lines. The selected phrase maps to the same time-based A–B interval used by the player.
Keep the selection continuous. Removing a middle line should not create a loop that jumps over it; trim an edge or choose a new continuous range instead. Listen to the resulting interval and refine its boundaries if needed.
Online lookup is your explicit choice
Online lookup is off by default. To use it, enable the setting and enter an HTTPS server URL compatible with the LRCLIB API. Find Lyrics sends a manual query with track metadata; the server also sees the connection IP address.
Choosing a server does not establish permission to use its content. Import and manual editing remain available without online lookup. Lyrics Practice Pro is a one-time purchase; check your App Store checkout for the local price.
